TERRYRICKETTS
We recently updated a SQL server to version 2008 and find that Retrospect cannot login to it. I found some older posts that a KB article (9703) tells how to install components for backwards compatibility. But that article no longer seems to be present in the database. Can someone point me to the correct info to allow us to backup this SQL server?

Can someone point me to the correct info to allow us to backup this SQL server? You have probably found out already what to do. Anyway, Retrospect will need SQL Server 2005 Backward Compatibility Components in order to backup SQL Server 2008. According to my notes, you would have to select SQL-DMO for installation.
