My main drive went kablooey when I tried to defrag it. I erased and inititialized it after it couldn't be mounted. Fortunately, my RE backup was on an external drive.

 

However, I can't restore it. It needs to build a new catalog from the backup set. It stops immediately every time, with 'Execution Incomplete - see Operations Log'. I open the Operations log and it has no information in it.

 

Any ideas? Using Retrospect Express 6.1.138 on OS 10.5.8.

Think I'm getting there - I had to change a preference so it would recognize Hard Drives as Removable Media. It's rebuilding the catalog now.
