twickland
Any thoughts on how to uninstall Retrospect 6 without having the CD? Yes. Download the Retrospect 6.1 installer here and select "Uninstall" instead of "Easy Install" when the appropriate window appears.
romdos
i don't know if these forums prefer re-using threads or starting new ones, so i'll try this one first. i have a client with mutliple versions of retrospect (5.1, 6, & 6.1) on macs (various os x versions, retrospect server is G5 running leopard). they want to uninstall the server and the clients but the only person who knows where any of the software cds or downloaded installers were was the owner who passed away recently. i tried the link above to get a retrospect 6.1 installer, but it just dumps me into roxio and i can't find a link there. does anybody know where else i might whatever it will take to uninstall these older retrospect versions? tx,
twickland
The Support> Downloads page at this site will get you where you want; here is a direct link: http://retrospect.com/en/support/archived.
leifkeane
I have the same problem. Unfortunately, your solution won't work on 10.8 as the old 6.1 installer can't run on that OS. Any ideas?!?! If I knew where retrospect 6 stores the password, I could uninstall the password by hand using the terminal. Thanks
aiza
I have checked the logs more thoroughly now and from the select events below you can see that Backup stopped working after the first time version 7.6.111 was first launched. I am therefore quite confident that the disk is not the problem.
