0680deff-c139-4e4c-bf3b-1e2215572022
Hello, I'm attempting to restore to a brand new hard drive ( C: ) for the first time. That is - my first time restoring with retrospect express HD v1.1.127 (from a Maxtor onetouch II external hard drive) to anywhere. The log info follows: 10/13/2010 10:58:33 PM: Copying Local Disk (G:) Catalog File out of sync with Backup Set "RestorePoint". To repair it, use Tools>Repair Catalog>Update existing Catalog File. 10/13/2010 11:07:43 PM: Execution incomplete Remaining: 257135 files, 60.1 GB Completed: 0 files, zero KB Performance: 0.0 MB/minute Duration: 00:09:09 (00:08:58 idle/loading/preparing) I found another community forum entry discussing something similar with a suggestion to DL retrospect 7.7 Pro trial version and rebuild from Tools media. I'm in that process now - awaiting a trail registration code - requested via email a little while ago. So, question is: am I on the right path? Should I do something entirely different? Please advise. The october date is in fact my last backup. I've been down and out with family medical issues, and then the hard drive (which was in fact Drive G) failed. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance. Phil (RVMAN)
