Mayoff Posted June 1, 2011 Report Share Posted June 1, 2011 If you have removed the config files and you still get this error when launching Retrospect, you may want to try one more thing. Go back to documents and settings/all users/application data and rename the Retrospect folder to "Retrospect old". Then try to open Retrospect. If this does not work, I agree you should uninstall and reinstall Retrospect. If that still does not work, try to disconnect all backup devices from the computer and try again. We are unable to do the uninstall as the we dont want to hamper the backup-scripts / configuration done with this software. To backup the configuration: go to \Documents and settings\all users\application data\retrospect\ Drag both config76.dat and config76.bak to a USB-stick or a backup hard drive.
