Thanks Darren Hi, I have found a fix that ("so far"...) works for me. (Running 10.6.8 server with Retrospect 8.2.0. (399)) My problem: suddenly the engine started to stop/crash randomly every two days or so. Nothing made sense. Here is the thing: access to media sets is protected with a password. I have found that when I manually unlock the media sets, the engine keeps running (for the past couple of weeks at least...).
