When this client: http://download.dantz.com/archives/Classic-Client-EN_5_1_180.sit is installed on Mac OS 9.1 it doesn't ask for a password. How should I set one for it? I thought it might use the Owner Password from the Network Identity section in the File Sharing Control Panel, but it doesn't seem to. Mayoff
You must uninstall and reinstall the client. The installer includes an uninstall menu.

Ah, initially I installed 5.1.180 over 5.1.120 and wasn't prompted to uninstall 5.1.120 nor to enter a password. Re-running the 5.1.180 installer offers an Uninstall option, and running it again after uninstalling prompts for a password, as you say. Thanks very much.
