carpetflyer
Hi everyone. I have a Windows 2k3 SBS w/ Exchange SP2 and 4 gigs of RAM running the latest retrospect 7.5 with hotfixes. One of our mailboxes gets the following during backup: File "xxxx\Inbox\0000000045d04b4656d3c9439db553f0ce605a0b070018947bdd13f6c646ab674cca5a7c4edb000000003de3000018947bdd13f6c646ab674cca5a7c4edb000000132c240000": can't read, error -3420 (unknown) MBDataInputStream::FillTemp: top->pMessage->GetAttachmentTable failed., winerr -2147024882, error -1018 MBDataInputStream::FillTemp: tempTable->SetColumns failed., winerr -2147024882, error -1018 File "xxxx\Sync Issues\Server Failures\0000000045d04b4656d3c9439db553f0ce605a0b070018947bdd13f6c646ab674cca5a7c4edb0000000745a0000018947bdd13f6c646ab674cca5a7c4edb00000031a4150000": can't read, error -1018 (not enough memory) Trouble reading files, error -1018 (not enough memory) Does that mean the message is corrupt? nekr0phage
Hi, It sounds like either the message or an attachment is corrupt, yes.
sdube
Care to explain how to fix the error please?
nekr0phage
Hi, You can try running eseutil or isinteg to verify that the problem can't be resolved within Exchange. If those utilities do not resolve the issue, try exporting the box's data to a .pst file, recreate the box, and then import the data from .pst.
