jcapslock Posted June 19, 2006 Report Share Posted June 19, 2006 We have had Symantec Antivirus 10.0 installed on our clients for sometime with retrospect proactive backups kicking off and no problems. We recently upgraded the antivirus client to 10.1 (specifically 10.1.0.394). Now when backups fire off the computer that is being backed up is for all intents and purposes unusable until the backup completes. I didn't find anything on Symantec's support that mentioned any trouble with backup software. Is anyone else using this Combo? If so is there some special configuration you had to do in either client? The retroclient version doesn't seem to make a difference, just specifically the retro client during backup with 10.1 of symantec antivirus client. No updates for the antivirus client are available.
