How to change path where Retrospect saved files/backup sets are

Recommended Posts

I hope I'm in the right area for posting this question.

Right now, my Retrospect files are located in My Documents. I'd like to place them into a different folder. How would I do this? If I just place them into a different folder, Retrospect cannot locate them.

Thank you very much for your help.

Cindy

Move them to where you want them....then double click them to open them up in retrospect. Retrospect then remembers this new location.

Which version of Retrospect are you using? I'm using 6.0 for Windows and from one session to the next, Retrolspect (for me at least) definitely does NOT remember the new file location.

I was hoping that someone could suggest a registry fix. laugh.gif

Hi

To the best of my knowlege the default path cannot be changed. You could put a shortcut to your desired path in the default Retrospect path. That way you can at least get there with one click.
