dchan76
Hi, We're running Restrospect v. 6.5.350 and recently acquired a Sony AIT-2 SDX-520V firewire storage device. I popped in a AIT-2 tape into the device. When I open the program and configure, it does sees the device, but under STATUS it says "Reserved" and doesn't see the tape. I've checked the manual which gives a list of possible STATUS, but doesn't list "Reserved". Anyone know what it means and how I can get the tape recognized? Thanks, DC
jetdog9
Hello, This may be confict between Retrospect and Sony's Windows driver. Try disabling the drivers for the tape drive in the Device Manager and rebooting, after which Retrospect may then be able to access the tape drive. -jetdog9
