Modulesix
I have an IBM ThinkPad Z60 with a Broadcom 57xx series 10/100/1000 LAN adapter. Running Retrospect 7.0 with the latest updates to both server & client. The backup performance on the network is usually between 2-8 Meg per min with this machine. This is the only system experiencing this problem as the other clients run 30+ Meg per min. The system board has just been replaced, adding a PC-Card NIC improves performance, so I know the problem is the onboard NIC. I have tried the latest driver & 2 previous versions, with no change in performance. Anyone have any ideas besides changing the NIC?
nembot
Hi, The problem is definitely either on the NIC or on the NIC slot.
nekr0phage
Hi, What about the motherboard's chipset drivers and BIOS revision? Might those have any effect on the integrated NIC?
