7.0 Active Directory integration, very important, next version

Recommended Posts

100 Users with 100 computer for IT team easy to manage

but 500 , 1000, or 1500 like one of our potencial customer, making a demo of retro 7.0

balancing many retrospect servers,

they tell us , we always in our bank institution make a lot of changes, like

adding users, upgrade computers, add computers, etc.

if someone quit from our company we deletes its credentials, user info, access rights, schedule backups, etc. with retrospect installed we need to delete all user info, personal data, too, same thing, diferent aplication, (AD, and Retrospect)

but if they are 20 or 50, hard boring work¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡,

they answer after our propouse,

if we need to do double work every time,Good product (retro), but we are not insterested

By now, every thing needs to intregrate to AD, for better manage.

----------

this is my sugestion

thank you

Yup, I agree with this.. keeping track of machines is a nightmare and I only have ~ 40 clients and 20 servers. frown.gif

Having a AD integrated system would be great, especially if you can then initiate push installs from it on Domain machines and initiate barebone rebuilds remotely.
