Is the date correctly set on the PC? A bit more info would be helpful. Exact Retrospect version. Version of Retrospect updater. When does the error occur? As soon as you launch Retrospect? Backup device? How is it connected? Regards Lennart

Lennart_T
"start it" might mean "start a script", "start an immediate backup" or "start the application". The latest 7.0 is 7.0.326. Are you updated? The latest driver update is 7.0.12.105. Lennart_T
Yikes! I have never seen anything like that. I suggest you call one of the numbers provided. (This forum is user-to-user, it's not Retrospect official support, even if formerly Dantz employees answer questions here.) Good luck

waltr
hi v, you might also try pulling the preferences in case they are corrupt. here is the location: 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Retrospect'* just pull the whole Retrospect folder out and put it on the Desktop. then open Retrospect again. you'll need to have your license handy since the code is stored in the prefs. *NOTE: 'Applications Data' folder is invisible by default. you may need to make it visible to get into it.
