arnstein Posted March 7, 2006 Report Share Posted March 7, 2006 I am getting started with Retrospect Pro 7.5 for Windows, upgraded from version 6.5. The Windows version is Windows XP Professional, service pack 2, all security updates applied (Windows Update). My backups to tape and disk seem to be working. However, I have a backup to file that fails. The backup job does create a 49 GByte ".rbf" file without error. However, the verify phase fails. From the Retrospect operations log: - 2006-03-07 8:00:52 AM: Verifying Disk Nightly 0 Can't load source session tree for 2006-03-07 4:47 AM, error -641 (chunk checksum didn't match) 2006-03-07 8:00:53 AM: Execution incomplete Total duration: 03:13:24 (00:54:12 idle/loading/preparing) What should I do?
