rafisher123
Just installed Retrospect Professional on a Windows XP Professional 64-bit system, and the maximum disk storageset size I can create is 5GB. Is that a bug or a product limitation?
waltr
hi rick, not that i'm aware of. can you give us some more information? obviously you are trying to make a disk backup set, but where are you trying to save the file? what is the filesystem of the disk you are saving to? what version of Retrospect? i've seen disk backups span TB's on a RAID.... rafisher123
Looks like the 64-bit version of Windows XP Pro enables disk quotas for NTFS volumes by default, with a 5GB maximum per user (just built the system last week, and I know I didn't turn it on...). Retrospect was merely respecting the 5GB limit. Once I disabled the quota, everything worked fine. Thanks for your reply. Rick
