mpollina
I am using several disk backup sets with proactive backup scripts. Several laptops are backed up to each backup set. Some laptops will not back up, reporting that they are waiting for media, and that the backup set is in use. No other task executing is using that set. I can go to the Backup Sets window, and open the backup set that is supposedly in use without getting a "Backup Set is in Use" error. Is there a way to unlock the backup set or force it to be used? What other factors might I need to consider?
natew
Hi Make sure you are using Retrospect 7.0.326. Older versions of Retrospect 7 had a problem where a set could be held reserved until the program was restarted. Thanks Nate
mpollina
I was still using 7.0.249. I'll install that update and see if it makes a difference.
