Catalog files during backup, not prior to backup

I would like to see Retrospect catalog the files that are being backed up rather than catalog the files that need to be backed up. For example, I have a Linux server with over 1 million files and the daemons on this server process files in one folder then move the files to another folder all day long. By the time Retrospect finishes determining which files need to be backed up, a lot of those files have been moved to other folders. When Retrospect tries to backup the file, it can't find them. If Retrospect would catalog the files as it is backing up, then this problem would be cut down considerably.
