waldorfm
Hello, I have experienced strange scheduler behaviors with proactive backup server scripts starting or running beyond their configured scheduled times. This is currently happening under 7.0.5.102 but also occurred in previous versions. It seems difficult to find the pattern when this is happening, but it just happened again when I changed the backup interval from 1 to 2 days for a backup script that is scheduled to run at nights during the weekend. It also happened when I manually start proactive backup from the "run" menu after restarting the application if there was a previous schedule change. The Schedule in preferences is "always". I have configured the schedules in the scripts. There are 2 proactive backup scripts configured: FrMo - Saturday 5 PM to Sunday 8 AM, Sunday 5 PM to Monday 5 AM MoFr - Monday - Thursday 10 PM to 5 AM, Friday 10 PM to Saturday 3 PM, Saturday 6 PM to Monday 5 AM The log file shows: e.g.: Normal backup using Server (FrMo) at 7/1/2005 11:51 AM I checked the computers local time and that the "retrospect launcher" service is pointing to the right one, but cannot find a problem there. Is someone else having a similar problem, or can explain what is wrong? Thanks and best regards, Markus Waldorf
