irwin
Current PowerBook G4 15" (1.67GHz) is shipping with a SuperDrive that's a Matshita UJ-835E (version GAN7). Am using Retrospect 6.0.24 with RDU 6.2.102 on Mac OS X 10.3.8. The drive's not yet listed as supported by Retrospect. Have tried custom configuration with a variety of DVD-R and CD-R media from different vendors. No luck. All get to "Write method 1 tests start" in the log and then sit silently until I force quit Retrospect after 4+ hours. Anyone have any luck with this configuration? natew
Hi Sad to say many of the Mac OEM drives require special drivers from Dantz and fail on auto configuration. I would give RW media a try if you have some. Otherwise we may just have to wait for a driver. Thanks Nate
