About that LITE-ON LTR-16102B (ATAPI) problem in a previous msg, is there any way around this? I gotta friend here in Minneapolis that works for Control Data that claims there must be a way to duplicate whatever Compaq is doing. Certainly looks like a cool program, why let Compaq have all the rights to this drive?? Thanks!

Compaq may bundle their drives with a different version of firmware, or possibly a completely different internal mechanism then what is publicly shipping as stand alone units. I wouldn't recommend trying to alter your current drive - it would void your hardware warranty and Dantz cannot support troubleshooting a hacked drive.
