jonro
I read the instructions for the tedious process for restoring an OS X backup to a volume. But, do the same rules apply to a duplicate, or can a duplicate simply be copied to a volume in order to restore it?
Guest
If you have a volume on a drive that has an operating system on it, you can duplicate or restore without needing to reinstall the OS. Those instructions assume that the computer is not bootable at all.
