  1. Russ, You must be joking. I mentioned it in my first and second thread. 1) When I double click on the Retrospect Express HD icon it says "Welcome to Retrospect Express HD" Updating Status... 0 restore points available and doesn't go any further. 2) I am running MS Windows XP Home Edition and have Retrospect Express HD 2.5. When I double click on the icon it says Updating status.... and doesn't go any further.
  2. I uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm still getting the same error message and the screen won't go any further. Any suggestions?
  3. Where do I download the new software from? Is there a link somewhere or just uninstall the current version and plug back in the external drive?

It won't go to the next page which used to allow me to click on the backup button. It worked the last time I updated about a month ago. Prestige Desktop Hard Drive 500 GB Running Microsoft Windows XP home edition Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
