  1. Upgraded from 7.6 to 7.7 and Tape Drive is now "not responding" under devices. I checked the list of compatible drives and mine is fine. I also made sure firmware/drivers were up to date this morning as well to see if that resolved. Tape Drive is a HP Ultrium SCSI 1760. Am I missing any new setting that would have been changed during the upgrade?
  2. I have this almost working. In the mornings however sometimes I see that it says choices or skip. How would I avoid this so that it automatically overwrites the tape and adds the data without asking choices/skip and instead proceeds automatically?
  3. So in the case that i had to restore files I could go to restore> insert the tape and restore from whatever is on the tape?
  4. Id like to back up to a place on the Hard drive and then turn around later that night and backup what was backed up onto the HD and put it to tape. What is the best way to do this? -Tylerbrevard
  5. Which option? I back everything up to hard drive for the particular files we are working with. "update existing catalog files, recreate from tapes, recreate from disks, etc, repair file backup set?"
  6. The box for "this member is lost or damaged" is unchecked. is this what you were referring?
  7. Im not sure I understand what you mean. Please clarify. Thanks, Tyler
  8. Hello, I am trying to restore a directory of files. It shows the selected files. I select them but then it only restores the folders and not their contents. You can see the files in the restore window and they are selected. Below are some screen shots that may help show where I am stuck. How can i restore the files along with the folders?
  9. I am curious if there is a way to install the clients remotely or via scripting? Any suggestions on what others have done? The tricky parts i would assume is setting up the client password? Thanks for any insight, Tyler
