    Backup running at 90 MB/min

They are not running on the wireless network. Some of these servers are on gig nic's with gig switches. The Retrospect software is also on the gig switch. Very weird and I cannot pinpoint what is causing this.
  2. I cannot figure out why for the last few weeks the backup on our Retrospect 7.6.123 Multi Server is taking sooooooo long. On average all the desktops and servers are now averaging 90 mb/min. I've disabled antivirus and realtime malware protection. We are backing up to usb harddrives. What can be causing this issue?
  3. Having issues trying to backup a Vista computer that is running VMWare workstation. After approximatly 12 minutes I get a 1123 error on file File "C:\WINDOWS\NtUninstallKB958690\spuninst\spuninst.txt": can't read, error -1123 (volume structure corrupt) This computer is running the client software.
  4. Mysteriously after 4 days of trying it showed up.
  5. Running Exchange 2003 with Retrospect 7.6.2.101 We have a mail storage on a hard drive that has failed. We successfully added another hard drive to the exchange server and mounted a new storage on it. We moved all the mailboxes to the new store and now we want to reconfigure the backup script, but I can't see the new store. What the process to getting the new storage group to show?

  10. I am backing up approx 25 notebooks Docs and Settings directory and for some reason the grooming started to fail. It does not show any errors in the logs but our 750 gig external hd has only 5 megs left on it. It is suppose to leave the last 5 backups but when logging into the hard drive I see backups from may in there. I cannot wipe out the backup set and start over because the notebooks are hardly in the office and knowing my luck one will crash before I have a chance of backing it up. My question is... can I manually delete the backup file from may to free up some space???
  11. I see that I have the option of backing up the data store or the mail boxes. Which is the best to do? Should I backup up both?
