  1. Starting/stopping the client service makes no difference; I guess I should have mentioned that I'd already tried that. I cannot back up because the 'Inactive' status causes the backup server to skip it.
  2. I installed the debian package retroclient_6.5.108-1-woody0_i386 (on a debian sarge machine) and the client started up just fine. The backup server successfully detects my client and was able to login successfully. However its status is showing up as 'Inactive'. retrocpl shows 'currently on'. I'm not sure what else to do from here. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks, -Brian
