  1. Apologies for being pushy but are there any suggestions of how I might progress this. Currently I am having to reboot the server in order to take a backup.

  4. Yelp! Using version 5.1 of Retrospect with most recent device drivers. Running on OS 9.2 on an old 9600/233 tower. Everything was fine [for years] until the drive failed and was replaced by HP under warranty. Now it is seeing Maxell 40/80 DLT tapes as SAIT tapes and giving errors about the media type being 'too different' to add to existing storage sets. Although I can retrive files from previous backup media it will not write any more. Anyone come across this before?
