rhwalker
Appears to be untested (and thus unsupported): Retrospect Supported Devices: Quantum DLT-V4 Note that Retrospect 6 is not, and will never be, supported on Mac OS 10.6.x Russ
rwadv
I know this is a stupid question and I'm 'sure I already know the answer, but after 3 weeks of struggling to make it work, I have to ask for my own peace of mind. Since the Quantum DLT-V4 USB drive is untested (and thus unsupported), then I am on my own to get it working, if that is even possible? rhwalker
yep. New devices will never be added to Retrospect 6, which is end-of-life. You might download a trial license copy of Retrospect 8 to see if it works there. I'd suggest using the Retrospect 8.2 beta rather than the 8.1 released version. rwadv
Sorry, my mistake. I should have been clear. I am using Retrospect 8.1 build 626 and having problems when it reaches the end of the tape. I'll try the 8.2 beta to see if that works better. Thanks.

Here's the link: Retrospect 8 forum I'll try the 8.2 beta to see if that works better. Thanks. If you have problems, post to the Retrospect 8 beta forum. Here's the link: Retrospect 8 Beta forum I wouldn't waste my time with the Retrospect 8.1 release, the beta is a big improvement, many bugfixes. Not perfect, but it is much better than the Retrospect 8.0 and 8.1 release. Russ
