mterchila
I just purchased an upgrade license to version 9.5 from 7.7 and was wondering what kind of an impact it may have on my existing disk backup sets. Is there a best practice when upgrading over multiple versions? I'm trying to plan for if I need to perform a recycle on by backup sets after upgrading, if there are any benefits for doing that. Thanks for your help.
Lennart_T
I just upgraded from 7.6 to 9.5. Retrospect continued to write to the backup sets without any issues. Except, perhaps, that the Mac clients were seeing the source disks as new disks compared to version 7.6. It also backed up every file as if no previous backup existed. But that was "just" the Mac clients.
