Designers
Hello, we are using retrospect 6 on mac with snowleopard 8 GB ram. It works fine, but since a few weeks retrospect stopped and we get this error message - Error: Scanning incomplete, error - 108 not enough memory. How could we solve this problem? Kind regards. Lennart_T
Retrospect 6 isn't supported on Snow Leopard. Try a safe boot, then boot normally before trying again. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564?viewlocale=en_US http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1455

Lennart_T
Yes, but it doesn't work now, right? It LOOKS like it's working, but it's still not a supported configuration. I would not trust it for that very reason. You MAY get away with backing up data files, but you can't restore a running system and get it to work. Retrospect 6 isn't aware of all the added metadata (such as ACL) in Mac OS X 10.6.x or later. So file permissions and other metadata is lost during a backup/restore process.
