Lennart_T
Power down everything. Check the cables (remove and reconnect them). Power up everything, Retro server LAST. Test.
ggirao
Hum.. But I can see one tape in the loading slot. Weird. I'm getting to the Tandberg web tool to get Logs, resetting etc. When you say power down, its the Tape Library? I rebooted the mac os x server with the retro server
Lennart_T
When you say power down, its the Tape Library? I mean every piece of hardware that has anything (directly) to do with Retrospect. That includes (but isn't limited to) the Retrospect server, the tape drives, the tape library, NAS servers (if any) etc etc.And just a reboot is not a "power down". ggirao
i'll try now... (jus for record: incorrect scsiServiceResponse 0x701fa630, scsiStatus 0x701fa630 on log)
Lennart_T
Sounds like a SCSI problem. Did you remove the SCSI cables and reconnect them as I wrote earlier? (Note that EVERYTHING should be powered off when you do that. SCSI is NOT "hot plug".)
ggirao
I think now is going on... besides still calibrating

ggirao
On last 3 days I have to reboot my Tape Drive/Library 3 times, while the connectivity to server was lost. I think it's the FC controller, could be? I checked the cables (not substitute them). Can I do that hot? Or should I shut down library and server and do that? TY

TY If you are not 100% sure you can do that hot, make sure you do it "cold".
