sahm Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Hi, using Retrospect 6.1.126 on Mac and and client 7.5.111 on linux i keep getting pitond errors 515 on linux clients. It looks like files containing "special" characters like german umlauts in their names trigger the error. Sometimes the client just complains about those files and backups the rest; in some cases it completely stalls like seen in this log: - 21.04.2006 2:10:11 Uhr: Kopieren von /home auf linuxserver… 21.04.2006 2:10:11 Uhr: Verbunden mit linuxserver… Beim Durchsuchen von Volume /home, Ordner /home/demo/www/example.de/Site M‰rz 2005/, Scanning incomplete, Fehler 515 (Piton-Protokoll-Fehler) Kein Zugriff auf Volume /var auf linuxserver…, Fehler 515 (Piton-Protokoll-Fehler). Kein Zugriff auf Volume data auf linuxserver…, Fehler 515 (Piton-Protokoll-Fehler). Is this a known problem or can i do anything to avoid that?
