natew
Hi Is this the first time you have backed up to this backup set? Is the disc blank or has it been used before? If you put in a new blank disc what happens? Thanks Nate
gordine
I have been running Retrospect 5.1 for several years on my G4 Mac without major problems, but lately I get an "Incompatible (unknown CD/DVD)" message when I insert a disk for backup. If I select "Proceed" the message "The disc is write protected. Please unlock it and try again" appears. I have tried different mfr. disks new and used but nothing works. Am I missing something - is there a simple way to unlock a disc? This is the same problem as message #60429. but I don't see an answer to the question Thanks, Gordine My setup: Retrospect Express 5.1 MAC OS 9.2.2 LaCie CD-RW 52x24x52 Verbatim and Memorex discs Fire Wire connection
